PFC Charles Leroy Little was born in 1916 in Walker County, Georgia to Joe Henry and Flora Ella (Rice) Little. His father worked as a miner and farmed. In 1940, Charles was working as a weaver and reported a 1939 income of $624. He married Martha Norine Westbrook on 10 May 1940.
Charles was drafted in November 1943. After basic training he was sent overseas and assigned to K Company 116th Infantry. PFC Little was killed in action on 25 Aug 1944.
PFC Little is buried in the Brittany American Cemetery. His wife would re-marry in 1952.
